Introduction

This build uses fire traps that spread waves of fire damage over large groups, which lets it clear maps very quickly. Several traps can be active at once and their hits stack. Dragon Flight lets you hop between enemy packs constantly, which makes the build very mobile and especially strong for mapping.

How to spend your points

  1. Start with Fire Blast to get reliable fire damage before your traps come online.
  2. As soon as Wake of Fire unlocks, make it your main clearing skill and add Wake of Inferno as early as you can.
  3. Max Wake of Fire, Fire Blast and Wake of Inferno first, and add Death Sentry later for finishing dense packs.
  4. Push Dragon Flight to level 24 using hard points and +skill sources, since its cooldown becomes very short at that level.
  5. Put any leftover points into Burst of Speed, Weapon Block, or utility skills like Cloak of Shadows and Mind Blast.

Final Thoughts

This build suits players who want fast mapping and wide clears and are willing to invest in fire damage and mobility gear. Players who prefer slow, defensive play will likely find it less enjoyable.
